Terms of Service

By accessing and using BuildCost ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

BuildCost is a cloud-based construction cost estimation and project management software. The Service allows users to create cost estimates, generate proposals, manage projects, and collaborate with team members.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts
• Accounts cannot be shared between multiple users

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Upload malicious code or harmful content
• Violate intellectual property rights of others
• Use the Service to spam or harass others

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

• All fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD)
• Refunds are provided at our discretion
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice
• Failure to pay may result in service suspension

You retain ownership of all content and data you upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your content to provide the Service.

• You are responsible for backing up your data
• We may delete data from cancelled accounts after 90 days
• You must have rights to any content you upload
• We do not claim ownership of your data

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects service availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildCost shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from the billing settings.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the ACT.
